Clifton College Sports Ground have the biggest and best 3rd Generation pitch in the South of England. This pitch is fully F.A. approved, making it the ideal artificial surface for football. If you want to play on the best surface possible – whatever the weather – make a booking for this pitch and enjoy a great sporting experience.

Weekly football 3G leagues (8-a-side) run throughout the year and are extremely popular. Grass Pitch Hire
Following recent redevelopment, levelling and the implantation of both first and secondary drainage systems, Clifton College Sports Ground now offers a large number of high-quality grass pitches throughout the year. Ideal for tournaments of all kinds including football, rugby, softball and even Ultimate Frisbee! We also have a new top quality ‘1st XI’ football pitch including a seated section and a viewers fence surrounding the pitch.
Water-based Hockey Pitch Hire
The site boasts a fully FIH approved water-based Hockey pitch, which is one of only 4 in the country at the top standard. It is the most sought after hockey pitch in the area and has a separate Warm-Up area for short corner practice. Astroturf Pitch Hire
The site has 2 full-sized sand-dressed Astroturf pitches and another medium-sized Astroturf pitch. They are fully floodlit and are ideal for football, hockey, netball and tennis all year round. These pitches provide up to 9 floodlit 6-a-side pitches and are available to hire at the following times:
Monday – Thursday evenings 18:00 – 22:00
Friday evenings 18:00 – 21:00
Sundays from 10:00 – 16:00
