Why not spend time with your family in the woodland at Clifton College Outdoor Activity Centre?
Our Forest School Leaders will facilitate a variety of exciting activities for you to enjoy together such as, Woodland Crafts, messy fun in the Mud Kitchen and cooking over the Campfire.
- Tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits will be provided.
- Suitable for children aged 0-8 years.
- All children must be accompanied by an adult
- Please dress appropriately for the weather – wellies and waterproofs are recommended
- Free car parking available
- Dogs are not permitted on site

Woodwork & Whistle Making
Using various tools and under the guidance and supervision from the Forest School Leader, you and your family will learn how to create working whistles which you can take home.
Our Forest School leaders will teach you how to make Damper Bread which you cook over the open fire, choices of bread fillings and toppings will be provided to make this yummy treat.
Popping Popcorn kernels over the fire is great fun, you and your family will be able to safely hold our popcorn maker over the campfire and listen for the popping sound.
Messy Fun in the Mud Kitchen
Children (and adults) can explore their senses in the Mud Kitchen by digging for mud and creating weird and wild concoctions using water, pots, pans and whisks.
A fantastic way to finish the morning by all sitting around the campfire toasting marshmallows.
